UK Brexit Minister Dominic Raab resigns From U.K. Government
Britain’s Brexit minister Dominic Raab resigned on Thursday in protest at Prime Minister Theresa May’s deal for leaving the European Union.
“I regret to say that, following the Cabinet meeting yesterday on the Brexit deal, I must resign,” he said in a statement on Twitter.
In a letter published on Twitter, Raab said “I have resigned as Brexit Secretary. I cannot in good conscience support the terms proposed for our deal.”
