Tijaniyya Muslim Council calls on Brazilian Ambassador – Ghana

The Tijaniya Muslim Council of Ghana (TMCG) headed by  Abubakar Baba Yara, Persanal Aide to the President and Spiritual Leader Sheikh Abul-Faidi Abdulai Ahmed Maikano visited the office of the Brazilian Embassy in Accra. His eminence sheikh Khalifa is currently touring the northern part of the country.

He will be there for about one month presiding over various forums, confetences,  serminars, celebrations and events of the Council’s regional and districts branches. According to the Personal Aide, His eminence Sheikh Khalifa is very particular about the life and  future of the Council’s teeming youth followers.  Abubakar Baba Yara explains that the president of the Council is very metriculous on how to equip the youth with Skills, vocational training and entrepreneurship.

He added that the council takes into consideration the  skills and vocations these youth can use to explore. The delegation also deliberated  on various fields such as agriculture, education and exchange programme amongst others for collaboration with Brazil. On her part the ambassador of Brazil to Ghana, H E Maria Elisa De Luna welcomed and showed her appreciation to the delegation for the visit.

In her responds, she mentioned the areas her country is in collaboration with the state and how far it has come. Mapromises to continue with the good relationship existing between her office and the TMCG. Abubakar Baba Yara stood on behalf of the office of  Khalifa to hand over some  publications of the Council to her.

Present at the meeting were   H.E. Maria Elisa De and Nàssara Thome (Minister counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission) of the Brazilian embassy, Media relation officer of the Council Muhammed Muhtari Ibrahim, Malian Rabiu (Sarki Faila, ), Baba Kowa(Head of security), Mariam Ahmed(Women representative) and other representatives of the women wing of the council
