Ibrahim Mohammed, alias “Kaaka” was a social media activist and said to be a member of the #FixtheCountry group demanding better living conditions for Ghanaians. He was then rushed to the Komfo Anokye Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to death on Monday 28th June 2021.
The death of Kaaka led to a demonstration on the streets in Ejura which eventually led to the shooting of Abdul Nasir Yussif and Muntala Mohammed and four other protesters. Abdul Nasir Yussif and Muntala Mohammed died from the gun shots on Tuesday afternoon.
Many Ghanaians across the various social media platforms have condemned the killings and are demanding a swift action by the President to bring the perpetrators to book.
