Photos – Tijaniyya Muslim Council Of Ghana Pays Courtesy Call On Mustapha Hamid

Members of the Tijaniyya Muslim Council of Ghana on Monday paid a courtesy call on the Information Minister, Hon. Mustapha Hamid.

The delegation, led by Sheikh Khalifa Abul Faidi Ahmed Maikano, Spiritual leader of the Tijaniyya Council in Ghana, was at the Ministry of Information last Wednesday, to congratulate Mr. Hamid on his appointment as the Information Minister and to introduce the council’s programmes.

Sheikh Maikano reiterated his pledge that the change in regime should lead to a positive change in all spheres of national life, and assured  the Minister of the Tijaniyya Muslim Council’s readiness to help the Nana Akufo-Addo government to achieve its vision of accelerated development.

Mr. Hamid  thanked the delegation for the visit and promised to offer his support to the Tijaniyya Muslims. The minister further stressed that, he would do his best to eradicate the media blackout of the group and provide an extensive change in this year’s Maulid.

The minister thanked the Tijaniyya Council for its prayers and  support during the 2016 election campaign.

The Tijaniyya this year started its consultative visits to notable organizations so as to reintroduce the council’s  activities and extablish a good rapport.
