One dead several injured in Ghana’s Chereponi district
Snippets of information gathered from the Northern Region indicates that one person has been killed at Nanduni, a community in the Chereponi District, as renewed clash travels into day 3.
The deceased has been identified as one Nana, a resident of Nanduni. The incident happened on Tuesday Morning, January 1, 2019.

“He was shot. His brothers although saw him falling, they had to retreat because of the intense nature of the firing so the attackers drew closer to him and finished him up, they even amputated his left wrist,” a source narrated.
The deceased has since been buried.
Meanwhile, several distress calls from residents of Nanduni, Nabruk, Nabrumu, and Achuma communities suggest that houses have been torched.
Almost every house in Nanduni, Nabruk and Nabrumu communities has been set ablaze by the attackers, sources claimed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
