Mahama jabs Akufo-Addo over private militia brouhaha
Former President John Dramani Mahama has criticised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Nana Akufo-Addo over the training of a private militia at the Osu Castle.
The training of the militia was broadcast in a documentary on Accra-based Joy News on Thursday.
Acknowledging watching the “harrowing” documentary on Twitter, Mr Mahama said it clearly shows that the current government “has produced enough paint to paint the whole nation black”.
The development is said to have cast doubt on the call of the president for a dialogue between the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on how to disband militia groups affiliated to them.
