Indian security delegation to understudy Ghana’s military capabilities
A delegation of the India National Defence
College Course (Course 59) led by Air Vice Marshal Bakul Vaikunthrai Upadhay on
Tuesday, 21 May 2019 arrived in Ghana for a visit.
The delegation is in Ghana on a study tour to gain
a better understanding of the security challenges, socio-economic development,
political outlook and military capabilities of Ghana.
The team paid a courtesy call on Vice-President
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia at the Jubilee House where they had fruitful deliberations
about Ghana and India cooperation and shared thoughts on how Ghana can remain a
peaceful country to anchor the many gains made in the economic development
front in the last few years.
Dr Bawumia wished the Indian delegation the best
of stay and study in Ghana.
