Ghana’s Chief Imam calls for calm
National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu, has urged all Muslims in Ghana to forgive Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International church, this follows the Reverend minster’s prophesy that the (The National Chief Imam) will die this year.
Also the Chief Imam’s appeal follows the vandalisation of properties of the Odorkor Busia branch of Rev Owusu Bempah’s church on Wednesday, 2 January 2018 by some angry Muslim youth, who demanded an apology from the man of God.
In his appeal to his Muslim brethren, the Chief Imam stated that Muslims have always lived in peace with Christians and continue to do so, therefore, that relationship should not be compromised.
He said no man knows the time or day that death will strike anybody, adding that death was inevitable for every human being, thus, there was no need attacking Rev Owusu Bempah.

“Please leave him and forgive him, I am begging you”, he pleaded.
Apart from the Chief Imam, Rev Owusu Bempah prophesied that Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, as well as former presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and John Mahama, will also die this year.
