Torrential rain in Kumasi Sunday rendered several people homeless, and others submerge in their homes.
About 3-hour downpour in several part of the city including; Asawase, Aboabo and Airport Roundabout once again exposed the poor drainage system in the Garden City.
At Asawase, a violent flooding have swept through a storey building putting occupants of the house under siege.
The NADMO Municipal coordinator for Asokore Mampong Municipality Alhaji BA Mohammed in confirm to fernilnews.com.
Affected residents had to seek shelter in neighbours apartments, as flooding took over their houses, destroying several belongings.
The NADMO and the National Fire Service are currently deploy at the scene to aid the situation.
No casualties has so far been recorded.
