Ghana EU business forum – Bawumia urges participants to take advantage to build partnerships
At the just ended Ghana European Union business forum held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr Mahamudu Bawumia laid to bare opportunities aimed at allowing investors operate their businesses smoothly in Ghana.
The two day forum, which was aimed at linking Ghanaians entrepreneurs to their European counterparts brought together stakeholders from the Ghanaian business front and the European businesses where they advised young entrepreneurs on how to have successful business partnerships.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who was one key speakers at the forum commended the organisers of the forum and urged entrepreneurs to take advantage of opportunities at the forum to build partnerships.
He further espoused what the Ghanaian government is doing to promote successful businesses with their various flagship digital programs in order for Ghana not to be passed by in this era of digital technological revolution .
This digital programs the government is embarking on he explained is to rid off the human interface of doing things and rid the system of corruption .
He also urged the entrepreneurs to invest in strategic areas such as technology to get support to grow in diverse ways .
Also,Vice president of the European commission Jyrki Katainen also in his closing remarks stated that the European front is glad to partner Ghana on this journey and the steady economic progress Ghana is making in this regard and was also impressed with the Tema port project.
