Four Municipal and District Chief Executives in Volta Region Sacked

President Akufo-Addo has sacked four Municipal and District Chief Executives in the Volta Region.

According to a report , the move comes on the back of an ongoing reshuffle particularly at the Local Government and Ministerial levels.

The sacked Municipal and District Chief Executives include John Nelson Akorli, Ho MCE; Elvis Djampoh, Kpando MCE; Lawyer Senanu Seneadza, Afadjato South DCE; and D.D. Dzorkpe, Agortime Ziorpe DCE.

The President, Nana Akufo Addo in a letter terminating their appointment thanked them for serving in his government and wish them well.

Meanwhile, the President has nominated replacements for the various positions as follows.

James Etornam Flolu – Afadjato South, John Kwaku Amenyah – Agortime Ziorpeiii, Prosper Kofi Pi- Bansah – Ho, Ernest Theophilus Quist, Kpando

The Above individuals would be subjected for approval by their respective assembly members on October 1, 2019.

The sector minister is expected to issue an official statement on the development later today.
