Ghana airports MD relived off his duties

Reports indicates that Managing Director of Ghana Airport Company Limited, Mr John Dekyem Attafuah, according to sources within the company, has been sacked.

Also, the Group Human Resource Manager, Mr Robert Tagoe, who doubles as the Secretary to the Board of Directors, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Aviation, according to Accra based class FM sources familiar with the issue have confirmed.

The reasons for Mr Attafuah’s dismissal are not immediately known, but he has been ordered to hand over his office to his deputy, Mr Yaw Kwakwa, until a substantive MD is appointed.

President Nana Akufo-Addo appointed Mr Attafuah to the position in March 2017.
