Police recruitment resumes Monday
The Ghana Police Service has announced that the recruitment process for candidates who went through its recent selection exercise for enlistment will resume from Monday, June 25 to July 5, 2018.
According to a statement signed by the Director-General of Public Affairs, ACP David Eklu the process will resume with the first batch of 2000 applicants who qualified for the medical screening who will be put in groups of 250 for screening at the Police Hospital, Accra each day.
The statement also advised all qualified applicants who will be notified through their SMS and e-mail addresses to note that the medical screening will cost GHc400.
“All qualified applicants are to note that the cost of Medical Examination is Four Hundred Ghana Cedis [GH?400.00]. Details of the cost will be made available when they report for the medical screening. Meanwhile, applicants notified for each day of the screening will be required to report at the Police Headquarters, near the Ghana National Fire Service Headquarters on the Ring Road, Accra before they proceed to the Police Hospital,” the statement said.
It also urged applicants to come along with originals of documents including, academic/professional certificates, birth certificates, and voter identification card (or any other document for identification e.g. passport).
The statement further directed that all enquiries or concerns about the recruitment process should be addressed through the official Ghana Police Service social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and its live-chat page on the website – www.police.gov.gh.
