Entertainment – Ill Gee unveils new surprise album “Odyssey”

Ugandan rap recording artiste and record producer Ill Gee unveils new surprise album “Odyssey”.

Fifteen (15) track album is the second album from the artiste this year and is said to be of a fusion of genres the according to the track list.

The album  feature only two artistes rhythm and blues songstress Joy Seconds and dancehall artiste Grantus.

the unique album is blend with electronic dance music and conscious rap, the rapper goes on to say it is more than just an album in reality it is the story of his life and something he made to listen to during tough times it is no surprise that it is titled “Odyssey” which a synonym of can be a journey.

The rapper narrated  series of his discography tail down to a story line about his life and tough times from his first album Barcode (meaning the barcode on a syrup bottle) to his second album Syrup (meaning the syrup bottle itself) to his third album Haezy (meaning the Hazy feeling you get when you drink syrup) to his new project Odyssey (meaning the journey through the stress and the tough times)

Something a fan wouldn’t notice because of the way he bring out the message in a form of club banger and minor life instances such as in his song Left Overs he talks about a girl who everyone likes but is his ex.

Odyssey is officially out today, Friday and  produced by Turkish producer Mob Beatz the same producer throughout his discography in collaboration with Fleak Type the entire project was mixed and mastered by Ill Gee.
